Effect Analogy: The
greenhouse gases in the atmosphere trap heat in the atmosphere in the same way
that your blanket traps the your body's heat in bed. Without the blanket, your
body heat would be lost to the air and you would get cold. Without greenhouse
gases heat recieved from the sun would be lost to space and the earth would be
on average 33 degrees celcius cooler.
